You can't blame president Obama for this continuing economic stagnation.

The only two things I can think of to blame, are the do nothing any good republicans in the US Congress or that Alan Greedspinn was so damned ugly, that his face caused the economy to go sour, during George W Shrub's eight year haunting and looting of the White House and the US treasury.

Entitlements...If the GOPer congress critters in Washington, do any less work or moving around, than they have the past four years, they could probably just go ahead on and apply for their freakin' government death benefits and I think the vultures in DC would probably agree with my assessment. The GOP should campaign for a fainting couch, instead of for a seat, in the US House or Senate.

I think things are getting better and it drives the local and national corporate media crazy.

If Mitch loses in the fall, I think it might be the perfect balm for the economy.

I'd call what has transpired political stagnation. We could have had a new deal...instead the GOP gave us the raw deal. We could have put millions back to work rebuilding our crumbling roads, dams, bridges and utilities, instead we got over fifty attempts to repeal the ACA. I'd rate the GOP's job performance as low as the numbers can go below zero.

America said give us jobs bills...all the GOP gave us was nothing. The republicans should be the ones looking for a job.

I might blame Nancy Pelosi who, in 2008, had the power to say "no" to the bailout of the big banks. Had she said "no," we could have had a real depression that would have changed our politics, thus allowing Barack Obama to be the liberal President we wanted. Instead, we got "the great recession," and, just in case you don't know the difference, a recession is when the little people suffer. A depression is when the rich people suffer too. Until they suffer, little will change.

Or, so it appears.

Nancy had a chance to do something great and she fumbled, IMHO. Something that would have bolstered our suffering image and credibility, as a respectable nation, around the planet.

The republicans hate anyone who stands up and tells the truth about them.
