Murray was co-author of the racist book, The Bell Curve.

He was also lying about Piketty's recommendations for taxing wealth - which is what Piketty recommends, taxing wealth. Murray said you would have to tax the middle class because taxing the 1% will not get you enough. That's a typical AEI talking point, but it applies to taxing income. The middle class has very little wealth. I'm sure Murray knows what Piketty recommends, he was just throwing up typical right-wing, misleading, bullshit.
