Little Girls Scold Michelle Obama in PETA Easter Campaign Video

Every year the White House hosts an Easter egg roll, and the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are trying to get the White House to use plastic eggs instead of real, hard-boiled ones with a new campaign specifically targeting First Lady Michelle Obama. And a big part of the campaign is a video PETA put online featuring little girls telling Obama they’re not mad, just “disappointed.”

The little girls try to convince her to break tradition, asking, “If all the other first ladies jumped off a bridge, would you?” and asking her to put herself in the shoes of the chickens that had to lay all those thousands and thousands of eggs. They encourage Obama to use plastic eggs, that way they can use them every year and not waste real ones.

taken PETA seriously for a very long time. Unfortunately they brought it on themselves.

Remember though, you need to give us back the plastic eggs so we can use them again next year. And by the way, ask Dad to write us a check because storage space in DC runs a bit higher that the cost of the eggs.

These days they're painted in Easter pastels and available for purchase as souvenirs from the WH gift shop.

Seriously, the organization doing the most to harm animals and to support animal cruelty is PETA.

Instead of berating people about the evils of eggs, I have two chickens that roam my 1/2 acre yard and lay eggs. I don't force them to lay eggs; that's what they do.

If anyone wants to know about finding eggs from non-battery hens in their area, I'll be glad to help. What I won't do is bullshit like this nonsense.
