I have to admit Shepard Smith of Fox News gave a touching and very emotional account yesterday about

the Trayvon Martin murder yesterday. I didn't know that he laid on a cold slab in the Morgue for 3 days with out his parents even being notified. They waited that long to check Trayvon's Cell Phone which had "Mom" and "Dad" programmed in it. Shepard was quite literally screaming and coming out of his chair recounting this while the panel of 3 or 4 sitting with him just sat there speechless. And that Zimmerman character, which I already knew, was only questioned for 2 hours, released and kept his gun. What the Hell is he doing at Fox News!!

Hopefully someone else will offer him more and he'll make a switch. I think he might be a good fit for 60 minutes

I realize a person has to make a living. Get that all day. But. Sometimes you have to take a look at what your job environment includes and what end goal or agenda your bosses are advancing in the process. There are alot of ways to practice his type of journalism. He needs to do some soul searching and ask himself why he is the lone voice of outrage over the murder of a boy on a network that touts a multimillion dollar budget and has little to no journalistic ethic or basic decent standard

From Katrina, on, he has frequently been the single voice of reality (and humanity) over there.

show real emotion on volatile topics before like torture. He was livid about it. Same with Penn State and Jerry Sandusky. The Fox Report is the only news program on Fake News.

The Trayvon Martin issue is maddening. It seems Zimmerman was looking for trouble and why he was armed is highly questionable. We don't have open carry in FL. Just Concealed Weapon Permits only. But neighborhood watchers are not suppose to carry. The Sanford Police dept. has show questionable racial prejudice in the past. The last police chief was forced out in 2011 for not seeking charges for a homeless black man beating until it went viral and an arrest was finally made. In 2005 another AA teen was shot in the back and killed by security guards who also claimed self defense. There is a pattern there.

Apparently Angela Corey, FL's AG, has been told to get involve. Why it took a month is beyond contempt but nonetheless we'll see what she does. The sad thing is that had it not been for the outcry of the parents and supporting Floridians it would have been swept under the rug again.

Zimmerman does have a record of aggression. An ex girlfriend had filed a restraining order against him for domestic violence and he had a battery charge on a police officer against him which was later dropped because of a deal he made to attend a diversion program.

He's a great newscaster, really. I suspect he's secretly a liberal, but he just does his job the way FOX wants him to.

Has some sort of agreement with Fox that he can actually report the news. His show is usually straight news with little spin.

That said, if the graphs of how little Fox reported this story are true, he must not have total control. I believe if he had his choice he would have weighed in before yesterday. This is the type of story that gets him upset.

And yes, he is paying the bills and making a conscious choice of staying with Fox. He re-upped his contract a year and a half ago in the middle of a few controversial "stories" where he was as usual the only voice of reason on Fox. Like I said he makes a good living and his show is allowed to report the story without repeating the daily talking points. I don't know if I could do it but I guess being a "big fish" at Fox and a few million a year help the medicine go down.

I like that about him. He's around these chameleons and he stays true to what he believes in the long run. I love that about the guy. Cause everyone on Fox, aside from him are Etchy-Sketchers. If I could I would switch him with Dylan Ratigan but at the same time I like that he's on Fox because at least some truth tries to seep it's way through the endless BS.
