They scare the sh*t out of me. Thats why I live out west.

I remember one el nino I lived in CA (North County SD) it rained the whole month of March in 1991. 2nd wettest March on record. It actually sucks when it happens because of floods and mudslides. Plus you dont want to surf because the ocean is a cesspool of e-coli. But the reservoirs need it and so does the native vegetation.
