Rick Santorum is a prick.

Yes, I know this as an esoteric(sp) principal, but listening to his not-victory(hahahaha motherfucker) speech this evening on Maddow, he sounds like a spoiled little kid who got yelled at by his parents when he was bad, and never got over it. His entire attitude is one of "You can't tell ME what to do" except now he has to say it to "the gubmint" because he never had the balls to say it to dear old dad. He is a 54-year old CHILD, claiming he is the equal of the MAN who currently runs the Executive Branch.

I almost wish there were an annual boxing tournament for elected officials, or something, so that these little brat child-men could see what real spiritual adult Male-ness is REALLY all about (not violence per-se, mind you, but the idea of legitimate sacrifice of the self to something GREATER then the self, understood for many thousands of years by the Male Psyche to involve some kind of physical and spiritual pain or loss before the winning of the prize of success....)

Rick Santorum is a prick.

If politics is war by other means, what kind of Parent takes their kids (or wife) off to fight HIS war. If that were me, I would say to my family, "you want in, fine, but you bring your OWN weapons and armor, or stay the fuck HOME. Where it's SAFE.

Romney pisses me off too, of course, but he is just a self-entitled clueless hypocrite and liar.

Santorum evokes such a strong urge to smack him (no, I'm not actually advocating physical violence)--given his whiney and very bratty attitudes.

The first is that many men seem to sanitize themselves early on, and then at midlife, begin to re-discover their inner, more 'natural' Wild Man, and the opposite seems to have happened here. It would seem to be that Rick found his inner 'Wild Man' to be somehow sinful or imperfect, and rejected the very natural, energetic, and spiritually GOOD parts of himself, probably because he had some kind of sanitizing, "redeeming" conversion exp., which leads to thought number 2:

This is a man who believes so strongly that his ticket to eternal salvation is tied to his ability make sure that YOUR soul is saved, he will do damn near anything to see that goal accomplished. And mark my words, YOU are not going to be allowed to fuck that up for him. He will redeemed you at the point of a sword, if that's what it takes to ensure his own salvation, and don't you doubt it for a second. (That this belies the Catholic understanding of the ACTUAL death and resurrection of the Christ is irrelevant, and not for the unclean to question, EVER. You dirty Heathen.)

the cameras today promising American women little Ricky isn't going to do anything with contraception.

I still find it disturbing that the Santorums after losing their 20 week old fetus, brought it home for their
other children to hold and cuddle. Normally judging how others grieve should be off limits, but this is relevant
when considering a presidential candidate.

I get the sense Karen Santorum is pulling the strings of this emotionally stunted man/child and it creeps me
out.

13. Most man-children continue to need a "mother" well into adulthood and midlife

because they never formed an appropriate emotional adult level relationship with the one Nature gave them, because for that to happen, first they have to STOP being man-children. So your observation concerning his relationship with his wife surprises me very little. And it SHOULD creep the HELL out of you, because it not only means he has an inability to deal with women at an emotionally adult level, but with MEN as well, due to the very likely incomplete nature of his relationship with his Father. Most of the problems of the America's Man-Children stem from THAT relationship not being nurturing. Even if it was nurturing for him at an early stage, the Church has done a fantastic job over the centuries with replacing the Wild-Man father figure (of even Jesus of Nazareth) with the much more sanitized, less Wild version that passes for the local Parish Priest, beholden to the Institutional System.
