I am watching Martin Bashir and they are discussing the millions of dollars on ads being spent here by these two numb nuts but where are the ads? Anyone else in Illinois seeing any of them? The Mormons have been running their "We are just like you.", propaganda ads here for over a year now. Those I have seen. But no political ads.
Had some robocalls but the answering machine gets those.

(8,945 posts)I hardly ever watch anything but the news channels , but I saw ROmney superPAC ads, 2 or 3 of them, in thwe short time I spent on the loacl channels Sunday morning (the morning talk shows). And I live in southern IL, my local channels are from St. Louis, I would assume "truly local" channels will have more.

(67,190 posts)All our cable channels have ads for local companies that only have stores in the Chicago area.
I think almost everyone's ads are done regionally now?

Note- I live in what is known as the Quad Cities, which consists of Iowa and Illinois. We are separated by the mighty Mississippi River but are one region.

Plus the news is all campaign bullshit ( what little I see)

(343 posts)but I have been robo-called by the Romney campaign about 3 times a day for the last 2 weeks. I have no idea why they would call us; my husband thinks the campaign is using an old parish list.
