the very definition of rape?
Some woman forced to undergo this needs to then bring a charge of rape, not against the doctor or technician doing the procedure, but against those who brought the bill to a vote, voted for it, and oh yes the man that signed it.

You'd think that when a law is proven to be illegal in one state that you wouldn't have to ban it in each state separately.
This country is getting dumber every time you turn around.
Who do we write to? The DA for each state?

(5,198 posts)Physicians cannot perform procedures against the will of their patients, and they are being made to do this by the state. Health professionals are being made to perform procedures against the will of patients. As a (retired) RT, I NEVER performed procedures if a patient refused, I informed them of their patient rights--the RIGHT to REFUSE.
It follows that if the state is forcing women to undergo vaginal ultrasounds for said ethical (religious) reasons, then patients should be able to opt-out of this procedure for their own ethical/religious/personal preferences. I would LOVE for this to be challenged in court and beat down--this policy is unfounded.
Where are our liberal lawyers????
