Please Remember: 2014 Is an Important Election Year!

Now that it is 2014, it's time to gear up for the mid-term elections in every state and federal legislative district. In your own district, or a neighboring district, there are opportunities to take state and national legislative seats away from Republicans and change the structure of Congress and state legislatures. In some states, Governors will be up for election, and opportunities to elect Democrats in those races are also important.

The time to begin activism in your own districts is now, if you haven't already begun. Contact your local Democratic Party organization and ask how you can begin helping work toward Democratic victories in November. Primaries will be upon us sooner than we think, and states with a caucus system are already planning their caucus and convention meetings.

Don't wait until the election is just days or weeks away. Start now to make a difference!
