How can I say this? It's as though Trudeau can read my mind. He always strikes at the heart of the matter and does it with such dry, droll style.

(239 posts)The problem seems to have been solved before I could put my brilliant mind to it but on my (old) Mac I could right click 'open in new window' to get a larger view.
ohheckyeah
(9,314 posts)and then click View Image in the menu. You can then enlarge it by clicking on it when it opens in a new window. Just click on it.

(27,677 posts)I took the original two column layout--which was actually larger but too wide for the message board to display without shrinkage--and gimped into a single column. This should display nicely.

(111,255 posts)at that stage. It's smaller than a cashew nut with gills like a fish when most women abort a pregnancy and at that stage, all are female. There's also a yolk sac. Arms and legs are buds and that's it except the tail.
The Texas Proxy Rape and Fetal Shaming Law will undoubtedly increase business at Planned Parenthood here in NM. Yes, it's a six to twelve hour drive, but if I were dumb enough to live in Texas, it would be worth it.

(27,677 posts)After all, our newspaper editors had the complete series last week.
Texass HB-15 isnt hard to explain: The bill says that in order for a woman to obtain a perfectly legal medical procedure, she is first compelled by law to endure a vaginal probe with a hard, plastic 10-inch wand. The World Health Organization defines rape as physically forced or otherwise coerced penetration even if slight of the vulva or anus, using a penis, other body parts or an object. You tell me the difference. -Garry Trudeau

(11,175 posts)In 2008, Texas was pretty red (McCain 55%, Obama 44%). Still, with Hispanics making up more of the electorate, the Obama campaign has been making noises about contesting the state. If enough women have to go through this in real life between now and November, who knows what might happen.

Also, the editorial cartoon Bagley did for his paper after it decided not to run Thursday's panel. Be sure to read the paragraph explaining images he used.
