Has he apologized for his past actions, advocating against the civil rights of people, has he changed his OWN positions on various social issues(LGBT rigthts, women's rights, choice, contraception)? If not, then what fucking tolerance?

(28,784 posts)however, if the current Pope is selling his image as a reformer and right-wingers are taking offense, that's better than being ignored, I suppose.
at least this Pope's pronouncement has made it into the media vomitorium and, essentially, publicly denounced Paul Ryan, professional catholic politician
Catholics who try to attach their belief to right wing economic policy are involved in heresy, since the words of this Pope were a "mission statement" for his papacy.
That means those Catholics, like Paul Ryan, who promote unregulated capitalism are in direct violation of the pope's divine mission on earth.
I can't wait to hear how they reconcile their justifications for other political positions if they refuse to accept this statement of how a catholic should live in this world.
