Stunning move by Clinton
ieoeja
(9,748 posts)They spent more time criticizing the Democratic Congress than the incumbent President Bush during Bill's Presidential run in 1992. I recall the Sunday morning talk shows laughing that President Bush was so ineffectual he could be effectively ignored. And laughing about a Democratic Presidential nominee running a campaign primarily against his own Party.
This is classic Clinton: always the first to attack Democrats.
Then their fans say that we "owe" the nomination to Hillary. Well, I suppose we do. It is really hard to stab yourself in the back. Nice to know we always have the Clintons around to do it for us.

The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund is Lying to You
And the Iraq war, that Bill continued from Poppy to hand off to the Mass Murdering Chimperor.
Yah, Peace and Prosperity during the Clinton years. But not for Iraqi's. Human rights squeak, sqwack, bla bla, but not for the Iraqi's.

(7,960 posts)Sometimes, when I'm being particularly cynical, I think that the only reason that the plutocrats allow Democrats to be elected from time to time is to clean up the mess the Republicans made and to pass these trade agreements and other policies beneficial to the rich and harmful to the majority of Amercans that would have no chance under a Republican president.

(19,288 posts)Were piling on and using Clinton's name, (along with the Republicans) to help bash the ACA, this morning
Ya know what? I'm damned sick of hearing it called Obamacare, too. It's disrespectful and used by Faux and now by all news outlets. It's insulting. Same deal with calling earned benefits......entitlements. Fuck that noise. I'm sick of it.

(19,288 posts)Alike use it. I still think it is derogatory.
It's like I say, though, about other name calling, in general, you take the sting out of it by becoming immune to the insulting nature and bucking up.
I'm just feeling sensitive in the president's behalf, cuz I want to protect his integrity.
If he's over it and I'll either get over it or be mad everytime I hear it.
I'll just scratch my mad spot and get glad.

(21 posts)And does Cheney agree with Bill Clinton in downplaying the faults the health care websites?
It's bad logic to say that all one has to do in order to get everything right is to say the opposite of Dick Cheney says 100% of the time.
Does Obama even disagree with Clinton regarding the people who should keep their insurance?

(21 posts)Without looking at Ed's transcript, I can guarantee that he did not note that in Clinton's interview, he 1) defended the fautly start of the ACA website by pointing out that these errors happened in Medicare in the 90's and got fixed eventually, and 2) said we are better off with ACA than without it.
But chopping up Clinton's words is necessary in order to throw a misleading rabblerousing cable fit.
Beacool
(30,253 posts)That's why there are few Clinton supporters on this site. I think I need to step away for a while because they are exhausting.

(32,017 posts)I have every reason to believe that Hillary will win if she decides to run and if she wins the nomination.
That said, it's not at all clear, to me, that Hillary wants to run, but pure demographics say we will win no matter whom we nominate.
Thus my desire to recruit Elizabeth Warren.
