Seriously - doesnt the data on FEC returns get entered by human beings?.... how did they type "C"

a with a straight face , and
b. without alerting the PAC treasurer that they have bogus records

It's not likely that anybody at the FEC "entered" that data. The PAC has a big database of info that has been provided by donors and they dump it out in that format for submission to the FEC.

Stephen Colbert's PAC has donations from Suq Madiq and Munchma Quchi. There's no auditing done on this stuff.
