EU promotional video causes controversy

I was quite astounded by how blatently the EU is pandering to the rise of xenophobia in Europe in this video.

The horribly stereotyped "threatening barbarians" closing in on a vulnerable European woman.

I interpreted it to mean that the EU should ban together because of all the scary (non-European) hordes threatening Europe.
