Teabag Endgame is Impeachment, Will They Risk Default to Try It?

Remember what Palin said just yesterday:

"Itís time for the president to be honest with the American people for a change. Defaulting on our national debt is an impeachable offense, and any attempt by President Obama to unilaterally raise the debt limit without Congress is also an impeachable offense," she wrote... http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/palin-obama-is-flirting-with-impeachable-offenses

I don't give her credit for being quite that clever, so this must be the talking point bouncing around the Teaparty echo chamber.

What I am worried about is that this reflects the end-game for the teabaggers who will try to throw-in any monkey wrench into the works to make it happen? Certainly, they were responsible for today's rejection of the Reid/McConnell plan.

Palin all but telegraphed how they want to proceed... the only question is their enough corporate leverage on the more moderate republicans to raise the ceiling before they force the President's hand on whether, or not he would invoke the 14th Amendment

3. If they win back the Senate next year...

...there will tremendous pressure from their right to impeach the President, I don't doubt.

4. Isn't 'endgame' primarily a chess term?

I don't think these clowns know how to play chess.

Unless they play it by shoving the board so the opposing player's pieces fall off and then claim, "We won!"

9. Maybe it's their 'cunning plan' they came up with in their 'secret' meeting last night

5. The House could have impeached Obama in Jan. of this year.

They didn't, however, because they knew that the Senate would never vote to convict.

As such, it's hard to believe that impeachment was their goal. Problem is, nobody knows what their goals are, and that's because they don't know, themselves. They are in disarray, and that makes them quite dangerous and unpredictable.
