Greenspan's BothSides-ism

This made me laugh.

Both uncompromising sides of our ongoing debate on fiscal and other issues need to recognize that financial crisis lurks should we fail to resolve our deeply disruptive fiscal imbalance...

Classic stuff.

There are actually sides as to how deeply disruptive and imbalanced our fiscal policies are. Translated to English, he complaining the deficit. And he thinks that the entire range of opinion falls within his assumptions.

What Greenspan is saying is like, "Both uncompromising sides of our ongoing debate on flying saucers need to recognize that flying saucers are real, and pose a dire menace to our children."
