Colorado recall: Morse says turnout lower than he expected, still optimistic

Damn.

After months of legal spats, millions of dollars in donations and a barrage of intense TV and radio advertisements, it's the voters in a small El Paso County district who on Tuesday have the final say as to if Senate President John Morse stays in office or is ousted.

Polls close at 7 p.m. and early voting results are expected to be unveiled by the county clerk here shortly after.
