The fact that the admin is using death videos, not the actual satellite images and transcripts

they say underlines their case is frankly suspicious.

We know the sources, we have heard the admins summary and interpretation, so why can't we see it all for ourselves?

This is the heart of their evidential case, but no Senator, no Representative is allowed to see this?

I am curious if even Secretary Kerry has seen it or the President himself? Or has it been kept from them for plausible deniability.

They need to show what they have.

It does not inspire confidence. Couple that with their use of easily debunked, inflated claims (like the number of deaths), and assurances that strong arguments for military action exist but are classified, and the similarities are downright striking. I don't trust them at all.

I've been asking if anyone has seen verification of the videos. Could they have been planted. Compilation of dead from Iraq, Afganistan or other atrocities that were cobbled together along with whatever happened with the August 21st incident?

The numbers keep changing over those gassed and those who died. We know that videos can be distorted and without being able to examine them...how do we know who took them, when they were taken and of what war or what incident.

It's all very strange.

8. Lawmakers shown 'horrendous' video of alleged chemical attack in Syria
Sun Sep 8, 2013, 04:27 PM
Sep 2013
Lawmakers were shown a gruesome video depicting dozens of people killed by nerve gas as part of a classified, closed-door briefing Thursday laying out the Obama administration's case for action against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., said the images-- a grim, "CIA meets CSI" presentation aimed to convince, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Assad bloodlessly killed more than 1,400 people, including over 400 children -- is what other members of Congress need to see if they're to be persuaded to vote to authorize strikes designed to punish Assad and deter him from using chemical weapons again.

Did they have a Tech Expert with Clearance to verify these for Senate?

They lie habitually.all politicians without exeption know from the day they set their eyes on that political carrier they must and will have to live a life of nothing but lies to be successful.it does come easy to them since they where raised that way.they even lie to themselfs by trying to believe that their wonderful convictions and their outstanding personallty got them into what ever office they are holding.under different circumstances and a different standing in societys ranks they would be considered criminals.

The worst thing is that they don't even lie well enough to not be caught.but since it is natural behavior for them, they cover that little problem with another lie.what a life, where one has to remember what one said.

why couldn't they just cobble together something and stamp whatever they wanted on it?

This is just crazy. It's too easy to doctor photos and create videos these days why aren't these Congress and Senate Critters more savvy about the age of the internet and photoshop and the rest? Actually doctoring photos and videos goes way back ...it's just so much more sophisticated these days to hide the sources.

kids showns and the rest seemed to be young, military age men in distress.... Where were the women?.....the first photos we saw weeks ago showed more people in distress.... so what was the point of this video.... like it was total verification???

Why is the U.S. the only country that thinks Assad broke the rules of using deadly gasses on their "own people" or during wartime. Other countries that signed this treaty don't feel the need to punish him?

Edit: Obama, don't let the old DNC crowd cloud your "better instincts" when it comes to making a committment to bombing just to show "power". The repubs only want to get rid of you and as many Dems as possible and allow no votes like sequester, budget, etc. prior to 2016.

The American people are not stupid. The world is not stupid. This government has been caught in many lies. And it's not just Bush. Bush was part of it...Iraq may have been what broke the camel's back. But this goes back decades and then continues to even this very summer with the NSA scandal.

It is not a question. It is not a debate. This government has proven time and time again that they will lie right into your face. They will lie and deceive in front of other countries. They will lie in front of the UN. They will manipulate evidence. They have no respect for the nation's own laws. They have no respect for international law.

I understand the sensitive nature of intelligence gathering. However, the trust level for this government is probably the lowest its ever been in this nation's history. Polls show we are getting down to Watergate levels after the Snowden mess and then with Obama, Keith Alexander, and James Clapper all lying to our faces and to Congress.

So Im sorry.... But I join everyone else when I say......"PROVE IT!" Either show the evidence TO THE WORLD, or shut the fuck up.
