Barack, Hillary and Syria

I will not lie, my disappointment with Obama looms. There were moments he could have taken that badly needed left turn, and did not. However, there are many moments where I a reminded that I did the right thing in 2008 and 2012.

At this point, I do not care if the Senate and House would block the war just to spite Obama. Heaven knows they have cost enough Americans their lives to spite him and us, we might as well save someone, bey they a U.S. Solider or some kid in Syria. We do not need to discuss what a McCain or Romney would do, so I am glad to have helped keep their fingers away from the Button, but I also believe that if Hillary was president, she would have a lot less opposition to her war effort. Bill would be trotted out, that minister of enplaning stuff, and this would get packaged as some sort of great liberation, with cheerleaders saying the Muslim ladies would thank us for ripping the Hijabs off their head (or blowing the head off.)
