Strikes won't solve anything if Assad gets to watch from the safety of his mansion. Not to mention innocent civilians who might get caught in the crossfire. Either attempt to arrest the person responsible or don't bother. By the way, I thought we were broke?

(21,115 posts)cause having high debt is not broke. I have debt...but I still have money coming in...so I am not broke...The Govt has money coming in...in fact even more money coming in as the deficit has be greatly reduced. I suggest a stiff drink and possibly a nap.

(23,782 posts)We had all sorts of things, from the Treaty of Westphalia onward, to develop a system of sovereign states at peace in the world. To go and attempt to decapitate this or that state will put us in a new dark ages.
