(Today? It's Saturday morning here and I still don't do the calculation well.)

More same-sex couples married in New Mexico today, as the Santa Fe County clerk began issuing licenses and about a dozen couples held a mass wedding in a county office late this afternoon.
Judge Sarah Singleton, ruling on a lawsuit brought by two Santa Fe men wishing to marry, issued an order Thursday directing the clerks office in Santa Fe County to issue licenses to gay and lesbian couples, the Associated Press reports. Clerk Geraldine Salazars office began providing the licenses shortly after 1:30 p.m. today, with the first going to county commissioner Liz Stefanics and Linda Siegle, a lobbyist for the LGBT rights group Equality New Mexico. The two men who filed the suit, Alexander Hanna and Yon Hudson, were also among those receiving licenses.
Then at 3:51 p.m., a dozen or so same-sex couples who had obtained licenses were pronounced legally married in the County Commissions chambers, reports ProgressNow New Mexico, a group that advocates for marriage equality and other progressive causes. There are photos on the organizations Facebook page.
Santa Fe County is New Mexicos third most populous county, and the city of Santa Fe is the state capital. Doña Ana County, the second largest in the state, began issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples Wednesday. About 90 licenses have been provided to these couples so far, the AP reports. Some Republican legislators are planning to file suit to stop the issuance there.

GOP Lawmakers Prepare Lawsuit To Block Gay Marriage Licenses In New Mexico
A large group of Republican lawmakers in New Mexico are considering filing suit to block county clerks from issuing same-sex marriage licenses, TPM has learned.
The group of legislators was poised to file suit Friday to enjoin Doña Ana County Clerk Lynn Ellins from granting any more marriage licenses to same sex couples, something Ellins had begun doing earlier this week. But the group is now reconsidering its options after a second county clerk was orderd by a state court to begin issuing same sex licenses. That order, by District Judge Sarah Singleton to Santa Fe County Clerk Geraldine Salazar, was issued on Thursday in a lawsuit brought by a gay couple seeking to get married in the state.
State Sen. Bill Sharer (R-NM) told TPM that he and roughly 30 of his colleagues in the state legislature had been planning to file an injunction to stop Ellins from continuing to issue marriage licenses. Now lawyers on behalf of Sharer are considering new legal options in response to Singleton's court order.
"Does the county clerk simply get to decide what the law says? If this county clerk gets to decide what the law is, then what's to decide some other county clerk somewhere else in the country from deciding what the law is?" Sharer said to TPM on Friday.
