Looks as if the same person who vandalized the Lincoln Memorial also splattered green paint on two chapels at the National Cathedral, including the children's chapel. A woman has been taken into custody.
I would provide a link but this is news just breaking; report just aired on NBC4 out of Washington.

What do they think they will gain?

Then again, she could simply be a highly disturbed individual who used paint as a weapon rather than a gun. Further reports will be forthcoming but I don't expect to hear anything specific until tomorrow.
The damage to the Cathedral was really sad; from what I saw, she not only splattered paint on the children's chapel but on the Cathedral's pipe organ.

of all Episcopalians.

Yikes.
