Here's the most useful site I've found. The Federal Govt. Healthcare 'marketplace' site, where you enter your state, and it links you to your State's Exchange, and allows you to compare healthcare plans.

Why is this important? Because SEPTEMBER will be the last chance for the Republicans to KILL OBAMACARE before it gets off the ground. Their plan is to force a showdown over the Debt Ceiling (which will be reached in September), and use it to kill the ACA before its true benefits can be seen when the EXCHANGES come online October 1st.
WE NEED TO SHOW PEOPLE WHAT THEY'LL BE ELIGIBLE TO GET UNDER THE ACA BEFORE THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO KILL IT.
Otherwise, this will end up being just another abstract Washington political fight over a program that people aren't really informed about. In order for people to make a rational decision about whether to let the GOP try to kill the ACA, they have to know what they'll lose if they succeed.

(5,954 posts)A company is not allowed to refuse to cover somebody with a pre-existing condition. That was one of the features that kicked in before the exchanges came online. Along with the feature that HMOs are not allowed to spend LESS than 80% of premiums on healthcare services, and if they did they have to send you a rebate. People have already got rebates because of it.
