What I wish had been further stressed in the movie was only in the one segment with Deep Throat: that the GOP campaign was running against exactly whom they wished. I fear a lot of people get bogged down and become dismissive of the legalities in their defense of Nixon. They miss the big picture of what was going on, and the tools are still employed to subvert democracy.

I love the movie. It was brilliant.
