I am not a terrorist. Protesting what is unConstitutional does not make me a terrorist.

(82,849 posts)If someone in the right position decides otherwise, *boom* goes the missile strike. Citizenship status, evidence, due process, actual guilt or innocence - all immaterial. And you know what's really a nut shot? There will be alleged liberals endorsing those measures.
Keep your passport handy, if you can. Although even that might be summarily declared a forgery, and then who ya gonna call? Trick question, Farouk! You don't get a phone call, because you're a terrorist.

(114 posts)What constitutes a "belligerent" act or "belligerent" organization, or aiding or supporting or associating with a "belligerent" organization? Is there an inclusive list, or are we talking a list plus any others who seem "belligerent"?
Since the NDAA includes "belligerence" not only against the U.S. but also "coalition members", which coalition are we talking about and who are its members?
And what organizations or acts might be considered "belligerent" to them?
Where do Pakistanis fall in the equation, good guys or bad guys? Pro or anti "coalition"?
What about Israel? And its tensions with Turkey (coalition member)?
Since the Republic of Georgia and Estonia are members of one of the Middle East coalitions, can we assume they've been removed from the U.S. list of "possibly hostile" former Soviet satellite states where special rules concerning U.S. tourism and residency and exchange/receiving funds applied?
I don't understand the rules.

(36,418 posts)State terrorists. Like the unmentionably corrupt members of the Inner Party (the One Percent) and the secret police of the Old Soviet Union, which we are coming to resemble. Start actually using the "Night and Fog" powers they now have, and this is the Reich.

It's about the people, not the powerful and if that makes me a terrorist in my own government's eyes then so be it.

(24,816 posts)By definition, terrorists use criminal violence and/or the threat of violence to intimidate the population--and the government--to do their bidding.
For example, the KKK and most hate groups can be classified as terrorists. Peaceful citizens who vocally disagree with the powers that be are not. The only reasons the banksters are afraid of Occupy and other nonviolent anti-oligarchy activists are 1) fear of being exposed as the criminals--and economic terrorists they are and 2) they're a bunch of paranoid, sociopathic control freaks who think the world owes them both a living and unquestioned worship.
It's the corporate fat cats who are intimidating and forcing the government to act on their behalf. Who's calling whom the terrorists?
I have a nonviolent nature and prefer to use persuasion to win people over.
