I took my laptop along with me on an errand because I knew I would have to wait at least an hour for services. At the place of business I connected with their wireless service and when I tried to sign on to DU it said that it violated the terms of agreement because it was an advocacy group. So, out of curiosity I went to see if they blocked the Drudge Report. I had no problem connecting to it.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

(12,693 posts)I suspect Drudge is not blocked because that is a straight news site.
It shouldn't be necessary, but here it is:
It is kind of odd that a business would block anything on the public network it makes available for customers.
(I have DU unblocked with the business justification that it is "technical"

(46,743 posts)I saw major improvement at the YMCA when they started to allow us to see more than the FoxNews network. I just assumed that this was spreading to other businesses in the area. Guess it's not happening fast enough.
