Televangelist Pat Robertson is telling his viewers to run from religious scam artists, especially those in religious garb, quoting the Bible. Many find Robertsons remarks at once both amusing and ironic, given the fact that Robertson makes a habit of quoting the Bible and asking his viewers for money on his popular television program, the 700 Club.
Robertson warned his audience of religious scamsters on Thursday, March 21, saying:
"Ladies and gentlemen, beware these scamsters, especially these scamsters in religious garb, quoting the Bible. I mean, run from them. Theyre all over the place."
Robertson issued his warning following a news story on the 700 Club about the Profitable Sunrise investment scam.
Right Wing Watch notes: Of course, if CBN viewers actually followed Robertson's advice, he'd be in deep trouble. While both Wonkette and Raw Story point out that earlier this week Robertson was encouraging even those individuals with no house and no job to send him just $20 a month so that God would shower them with blessings."

Isn't he the fucktard who said god would strike him dead if his donors didn't cough up millions, or was that another one of those similar charlatans?
In any case, he's had his share of religious chicanery.
