'She's on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown': Game Change trailer shows Julianne Moore's Sarah Palin on the edge

It was supposed to be the moment that would energise John McCain's flailing 2008 campaign and help see him to victory over Barack Obama.

But upcoming HBO movie Game Change portrays the appointment of Sarah Palin as his running mate as a disastrous gamble that torpedoes his chances of election and almost leads her to a nervous breakdown.

In the new trailer for the much anticipated new film, Julianne Moore's Palin is seen lying unconscious surrounded by papers as she unsuccessfully tries to get up to speed for the demanding campaign trail.

5. You won't put it down. It is a good read. I got it on hard cover. It covered all the candidates.

But that part was the most interesting to me.

10. I read that book when it came out. I liked it.

The media focused on all the gossipy tidbits but I mostly liked reading about the behind-the-scene process for all the campaigns. The stuff about the Obama campaign was really impressive. This movie is going to focus on the Republican side but the book delves into all the campaigns fairly equally. The Edwards stuff was tough to read.

I read it while the memory of the election was still fresh and I was struck by how much we think we know but really don't. I was also struck by how often the source of a story isn't who we think it is.

I could see the Queen of the Grifters with a show on the HOBO channel. That's some real high class panhandling she has done, a real inspiration to all those King-of-the-Roads.
