Will no meteor rid us of these meddlesome Villagers?

The day after Secretary of State Colin Powell’s speech before the U.N. Security Council Wednesday, TV commentators and newspaper editorials, and even many liberal pundits, declared their support for the Bush administration’s hard-line stance on Iraq. CNN’s Bill Schneider said that “no one” disputed Powell’s findings. Bob Woodward, asked by Larry King on CNN what happens if we go to war and don’t find any WMD, answered: “I think the chance of that happening is about zero. There’s just too much there.”

and won't come down off the mountain no matter how wrong he is.

I used to admire him, but that ended years ago. I think I saw that program on Larry King and was very disgusted with Woodward. Me'n millions of people all over the earth didn't believe anything the Bush administration said. I regarded Rumsfield, Cheney and the others as a bunch of lying crooks who may have had a hope that they might somehow capture the oil from the Iraquis..

Remember the crowds that formed in every major city in every continent to protest the days before the US entered Iraq?

...until it was bought by Carlyle Group.

They fired the journalist for telling the truth. Now it talks about the business of journalism, more than the journalist's business.

Thanks, kpete. Another example of DU being on to the warmongering gangsters for a long time.
