VARNEY: Look what the president is doing here, it’s a repeat performance of his campaign, which is you raise taxes on the rich and you offer all kinds of free stuff to people who will vote for you in the future. Free preschool education for 4-year-olds, it’s free, here it is. Hand out the goodies.

1. Obama is getting at those preschoolers early....giving them handouts

So they can vote for him when they turn 18. Those 4-year-olds are nothing but takers!

3. but Varney doesn't mind when Obama gives out goodies to the bankers

on a vastly larger scale.

I know for certain Varney supported TARP. And I have a very strong hunch he supports oil subsidies as well. Gigantic goodies are fine and dandy for the oil companies, but modest goodies for poor people is a no-no.

4. TARP was under Bush

I know the Republicans have revised history on that one and blame Obama admin for TARP , but doesn't change the facts.

I know your posts well enough to know you know TARP was under Bush. But I am like a bull with a Red Cape when I hear this Republican "fact" repeated in conversation
