My biggest issue with Nugent is not his draft dodging

A lot of people dodged the draft in the 60's, not because they were cowards, but because they were anti war. The biggest issue I have with The Nuge, is his trail of racist and misogynistic hate mongering. He dodged the draft because he's a self-centered, arrogant, POS who thinks he's more important than anyone else. His guns should be taken from him because he is seriously mentally ill.

Just my 2 cents as an anti-war demonstrator of the 60's.

Thank you for being that someone. I don't have a problem with the draft dodging either. It was IMO an illegal unnecessary war. A lot of people died for no good reason, about 58,000 of them were our citizens. About 2 million Vietnamese were killed which is also important to note. I am for anyone who didn't want to be part of that. But, his way was wrong if true. I heard it was really a student deferment and the real truth is when it was over he went in and acted crazy. Those records are not available to the public so I reckon we will never know the whole truth. The Nuge lied one way or the other since he changed his story. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle of the two stories. And I agree that he is still mentally ill.
