American nationalism, fascism, liberalism and voting

In Greece 20% of voters of Golden Dawn are former voters of social democratic / liberal PASOK, that totally sold out to banksters. Is US social psychology different from Greece? Is DU?

These questions are mostly internal soul searching and hopefully constructive. As far as I'm concerned, I don't want to "purify" DU from nationalists, who might vote US fascist party if there was one credible enough, but to keep on talking and engaging on human to human basis, and to remind, if possible, that us non-Americans are humans too. No matter what your Constitution says.
