4.1M fracking earthquake in same area of East Texas

This is a blog post. Please visit the blog for all the links.

I knew there was an earthquake near Timpson, Texas last night because searches were leading people to my blog but the USGS had nothing on their site about it until after midnight.

It’s in the same area as the other quakes. Keep in mind that Texas receives Louisiana’s drilling waste for disposal and you can thank our governor for that.

Maps showing drilling in that area HERE with some information about two disposal wells in that area. Don’t miss the interesting comments.

Document the condition of your foundation regularly and please use common sense when discussing fracking earthquakes. A 4.1 is going to do a lot of what the media calls minor damage. Homeowners call it a disaster.
