Fox News host Sean Hannity has lost half of his viewers since the election, Rachel still ahead

Sean Hannity’s ratings have plummeted since Barack Obama’s second victory. Nielsen ratings show that Hannity’s audience is leaving in droves; approximately half in the weeks after the election with Rachel Maddow still leading the Fox host.

NYDailyNews reports, “Bill O’Reilly — who steadfastly refuses to identify himself politically as a conservative — retained around 70% of his audience. After a stunned audience had to go to bed finding that President Obama was reelected, apparently the anti-Obama sentiment proved to be a colossal failure.

Hannity was fairly confident that Obama would be a one term president.

Before the election.

Hannity was riding high in the ratings and topped thought leaders on the right, like Dick Morris, Ann Coulter, Peggy Noonan and talk radio bulldog Mark Levin, who predicted Obama would lose in a landslide.

Those voices — and many others like them — all but drove the political coverage on Fox News, talk radio and conservative blogs.

"Thought" and "leaders" and "on the right" cannot possible all be in the same sentence.

Someone should have told simple minded Hannity that when you
listen to OxyRush you end up looking like a fool every damn time.

What Boortz used to say every day at the end of his broadcast when he and Hannity were both on local radio in Atlanta.

I think even Republicans are starting to realize it's not enough just to be against everything Democrats are for. At some point you have to come up with your own ideas that actually work and if you can't you're nothing more than a malcontent.

I'm pretty confident that it was idiotic to assume that a sociopath popular with predominantly hateful white people only couldn't make a serious challenge to a president who is highly popular with all voting groups.

Ollie North. That is where he started. Got a weekend gig because the radio station manager liked what he heard. Got a gig in San Diego - got fired for homophobic rant - got another gig (Atlanta?) - Fox News needed somone ANYONE on the air and he got hired.

so why not just cut out the middle man: read a fantasy novel or watch a sci-fi movie, just enjoy the story for what it is, you don't have to believe it and you'll feel better afterwards.
