The Apocalypse is looking back in the mirror...

The Apocalypse did not happen today. No meteor, earthquake, flood, or zombie wreaked havoc on us. (so far...)

But something has changed. We are no longer safe from EACH OTHER. With all the recent shootings and chaos regarding gun control, I fear we are on the verge of "bad guys with guns vs. good guys with guns" in this country. (thank you fucking NRA for that fucked up idea) Putting a gun in the hands of everyone is the single most evil tragedy that could happen. Treating gun violence with more gun violence is not an answer, its a means to an end. An end to peaceful communities, to peaceful protest, to peaceful discussions. Let's hope and pray (if that's a thing that you do) that we can come together as a collective voice and stop our own terrorism towards one another.

Peace and Hope and Love to you all,

We don't need the apocalypse, nor planets colliding, nor seas arising: we'll kill each other off ultimately.
I don't have an apocalyptic fear of an upcoming event or see things as being irreversibly out of control, BUT!
I do fear a another civil war on this country - it's getting crazy out there!

by saying civil-infighting and such because it's just so damned horrid to think about. But we are separating ourselves on so many issues that strike the heart that it's not outside the realm of possibility right now.

Our emotions are very, very high right now (and rightly so) and if things don't change, we are headed for our own catastrophe by our very own hands.
