Romey's wife attacks Gingrich in robo-calls.

South Carolina Treasurer Curtis Loftis, a Romney supporter, and Ann Romney on Saturday were on separate automated phone messages attacking Newt Gingrich’s ethics record in Congress.

“Look at how they’ve lived their life,” Ann Romney says, according to the AP. “And that’s why I think it’s so important to understand the character of a person.”

Thinking of Newt, I think of three things ...

Leopard, snake, and scorpion.

Leopard: Can a leopard really change its spots?

Snake: The tale of the woman who nursed a snake back to health, and it bit her. "You knew I was a snake when you picked me up."

Scorpion: Scorpion begs a turtle to take it across a river. Turtle prefers not to, but scorpion promises not to sting the turtle. Halfway across the river, the scorpion stings the turtle, saying "It's my nature."

Just remember how much the Republicans went on and on about Clinton; do they really expect Newt to be different? A man who swore to God (three times) that he would be faithful to his wife ... and broke that vow to God at least twice.
