You had that ONE interview with Andrea Mitchell where she got her to remark on OTHERS questioning his fitness, and she acknowledged they had. She gave them a pass for that, as has the WH.
That doesn't mean anyone here who is valiantly trying to defend our votes already cast in this election for Joe Biden to run against Trump, already knowing he was old, should take lying down any of the attempts and suggestions to throw those away by bullying the president to step down.
They need to be told just how important those choices are for most Democrats, and how callous and arrogant it is to assume you can trash them and our presumptive, incumbent nominee in some second-guessing canard.

(121,399 posts)from fluid and non teleprompter kinds of events where he would have to speak off the cuff and answer questions. Not Nancy Pelosi's fault the WH has done this.
If they get his sleeping fixed and he still leads the ticket they need to let Joe be more open.

(88,683 posts)...please post the evidence that his staff is "keeping Biden away from fluid and non teleprompter kinds of events."
What is it about his sleeping that you're concerned about?
Please provide some evidence about his sleeping habits to back this up.
Thank you.
I do wonder why you're still talking about him like he's been sheltered in the WH. He's been to several events, and has announced several more, including an interview with ABC.
I'm not understanding talking about this like he's in some sort of decrepit state. He's in an actual end game to negotiations with the Israeli president to effect a ceasefire; one that he's bee deeply involved with brokering all along.
What is this nonsense about his abilities when you can't bother to mention what he's actually doing and speak about him like he's an invalid or something just waiting to prove himself.
THREE AND A HALF YEARS OF EXCELLENCE FROM PRESIDENT BIDEN.
But some people seem to think he's defined by these incompetent news entertainers who don't know much more about the president because they haven't bothered to look to cover any of it.
What the ell are we supposed to prove to people who are STILL indifferent to what he's actually doing?
I say all of this is a mirage. The polls didn't shift much at all and this entire thing is a deliberate distraction by the media for us to obsess on THEIR interests instead of our own.

(257 posts)I have no problem with our leaders expressing concern but doing it in public where it clearly undermines our chances in November is the kind of reckless nonsense that has to stop. These leaders have way more access to the President than we do so why not use that access and tell him and his aides to their face and promote unity in public. This is where Republicans do it better and that is they close ranks no matter what. Our side spends too much time with self inflicted wounds that get blown out of proportion by the media.
