It's got to be excruciating to serve with some absolutely paid-for justices.

I can understand wanting to stay on board just in case this ship can be re-righted ---- whoops, it is already too right. Perhaps the metaphor should be restored/recentered.

Maybe she is preparing us for some decisions that are especially horrible for democracy.

I admire her a lot. I hope and pray that she can endure this painful time.

Are we there, yet? Of course not. It's about to be the 60th Anniversary of The Civil Rights Act. The one that tipped poor Southern Democrats towards Conservative Republicanism. All because of racism that John Roberts says is dead. Square that circle please.
