(7,604 posts)We're perfectly able to manifest any cat of disasters in our own homeland's hemisphere when they're needed. Cat 1 through 5, no problem, name your poison. I say, "devastate domestically, don't let these illegal foreign elements infiltrate our own red-white-and-blue tropical storm producing weather patterns." It ain't for nothing we're the western hemisphere, a shining storm center on the hill and damn proud of it.
Stop the proliferation of alien hurricanes, storm American!

(44,160 posts)Over development and the resulting sedimentation. Invasive lion fish. Stony Tissue Coral Disease. And, of course, warming ocean temperatures due to climate change. Sometimes I'd like to drag climate change deniers underwater with me and show them the environmental destruction that they pretend isn't happening. Then I'd cut their air hoses.
