Jennifer Rubin gets it right:

Here's her last paragraph from today's Washington Post:

Biden likes to say, “Don’t compare me to the Almighty. Compare me to the alternative.” In the case of foreign policy, according to hawkish Republican foreign policy gurus, the alternative to Biden is the candidate who wants to hobble NATO, sacrifice European allies to Putin, betray Ukraine, encourage the worst aspects of both the Saudi and Israeli governments, and do PR for North Korea, Hungary and every tinpot dictator who can flatter Trump. If you find these outcomes abhorrent, you cannot be indifferent to the outcome of the election.

She knows that to cuddle up to the Repug donor class, that's their price these days.

I do have to wonder if the Democrats would be any different if it was their guy who is the boil on the ass of the body politic. But the GOP's dedication to Party is breathtaking. Still, what's their alternative? They haven't got anyone who could attract the voters like DJT. They're trying desperately to hold onto relevance.

I hope they get such an historic ass-whipping in November that a generation will be ashamed to admit they were once Republicans.

They want to pretend that both candidates are viable alternatives, and that there is actually an election taking place. They are about as far from reality as your typical ad exec, or company CEO. And they panic everyone with their false equivalencies and dire polls about the upcoming race.

If there are people who are "indifferent" to the upcoming election, then it is definitely the fault of the media, who will not tell the truth for fear of losing clicks.

Is playing it as a normal election and presenting "issues" like Trump has anything except getting revenge on people he dislikes

While this is a parody account, it's not far from the truth
