In the House: He said what?

Just switched over to C-span, and the House was in the process taking down a statement from Jim McGovern. The clerk read the "offending" words that seemed to be nothing more than a recitation of trump's legal circumstances. Did anyone here happen to catch McGovern's speech?

I've got a feeling that Raskin will likely have some vibrant commentary.

I found an article and video here:

“He is not a presumptive king," the member said. "He's not even the president. He's a presumptive nominee."

We have a presumptive nominee for president facing 88 felony counts, and we're being prevented from even acknowledging it," he continued. "These are not alternative facts. These are real facts."

"A candidate for president of the United States is on trial for sending a hush money payment to a porn star to avoid a sex scandal during his 2016 campaign, and then fraudulently disguising those payments in violation of the law."

McGovern: And a jury has already found him liable for rape in a civil court.

Houchin: Take down his words. I demand that his words be taken down.

McGovern: I was admonished for stating that the former president is on trial in a court of law. It's the truth. Is it unparliamentary to state a fact?
