The fact he has the full support of the party's elites, which was on full display this week at his trial when even the Speaker of the House flew in (and there's a show of support from more Republicans planned for next week), on top of his takeover of the GOP, makes him losing the nomination extremely unlikely.

The only way that happens if he's jailed indefinitely (he won't, not even on the New York charge - it'll probably be deferred time and a fine) or he keels over.
