Former Durant student teacher found guilty for child sex crimes

DURANT, Okla. (KXII) - A former student teacher at Durant Middle School was found guilty in federal court Wednesday.

Ryan Capps, 25, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a then-14-year-old student.

According to unsealed federal court documents, the sexual abuse happened between September and November 2022.

A jury handed down a guilty verdict Wednesday on charges of sexual exploitation of a child.

A sentencing date has not been set..................................

I’m being sarcastic. I’m almost certain that the child rapist will not see the inside of a jail.

But I’ll await for his sentencing and be surprised or not.
