I see polls and they have the race neck-and-neck or TSF ahead or 1 or 2 points behind and I think to myself, no fucking way. I feel they are intentionally skewed for TSF by the corporate owned media, Heritage Foundation, Federalist Society, et al, to give everyone the impression that TSF is still relevant and that he is actually viable. Just like most everything that comes out of TSF's mouth, it's all a monstrous lie.

5. And it's a lie to protect their precious, deficit raising tax cuts

They are fine with ending democracy and turning the US into the USSR so long as THIER lives go on raking in more money than is humanly possible to spend in a lifetime.

They are a class of predators with extreme mental illness. If they were wolves, they would be driven out of all packs and left to fend for themselves in the real world.

Your watching the Kentucky derby, when in reality, it's going to be a huge Biden landslide.

Maybe I'm overreacting but that hit me like a punch in the gut.

I CANNOT believe the bad numbers Biden's getting. I just can't!

I've never liked the horse race aspect of American politics. But it's particularly to me avoided as a topic when it reflects so badly on our side's appeal

6. Indictment of Biden or feckless American voters?

Voters are responsible for the effort they make to stay informed.

14. The whole point of democracy is to appeal to voters

Leadership means you're taking upon yourself to inform and win over voters.
If you lose a football game, you don't blame the rules and you don't blame the yards or the shape of the field goals or the gripability of the pigskin. This is the game you agreed to play.

Getting the voters over to your side is the point of the game. Yes, they should be informed, but if they aren't then it's the candidates responsibility to try new approaches.

Spin. I'm here in deep red backwoods KY, and I'm seeing a whole lot of Biden signs and almost no trump signs.

I'm also hopeful that the Trump trials continue to expose him to his duped followers, that those people wake up and start voting in their own economic interests.

But those consistent "Biden 46% vs Trump 45%" polls are not a reality I'm willing to ignore.

If people are so ignorant and oblivious, maybe this country doesn't deserve to continue as a democracy.

https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/28/politics/cnn-poll-trump-biden-matchup/index.html

Looking back, 55% of all Americans now say they see Trump’s presidency as a success, while 44% see it as a failure. In a January 2021 poll taken just before Trump left office and days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, 55% considered his time as president a failure.
