the power to disengage and show disrespect by snoozing. Throw in the likelihood that his lawyers have him somewhat sedated just to keep him out of jail for contempt, and... ZZZZZZzzzz will happen.

And we know he's up all night, then used to sleeping til nearly noon. The court schedule has interrupted his sleep schedule and there is nothing he can do about it; no 'executive' time when he needs sleep. The court sets the clock. He is powerless beyond just zoning out.

It would be counterproductive for the judge to order any kind of evaluation. Delays are all his defense teams have in any of the cases he is facing. No point playing into their hands.
