Any split that is higher than 5% will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trumps campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations, the letter added.
Trump by no means lacks fundraising revenue, but he is spending mountains of cash on the slew of civil and criminal cases against him. The former president has been leveraging his various trials as a motivator for small donor donations, but according to Federal Election Commission filings released earlier this week, he brought in $75 million less than President Joe Bidens campaign in the first quarter of 2024.
The letter demonstrates how fixated the Trump campaign is on ensuring that political donations in any way linked to Trump make it directly to the campaigns coffers. The notice includes a series of guidelines for vendors listing fundraising tactics they should avoid, including speaking on behalf of President Trump, mentioning the presidents family without their consent or the consent of the campaign, and even copying the language or style from President Trumps fundraising solicitations.
Hey this is great! They'll stop mentioning his name immediately. By this summer they'll all be saying, "Donald who?"

(10,237 posts)Since I don't think he's voluntarily set foot in a church in decades he probably doesn't realize that that's a source of mostly untraceable funds (assuming people still put cash in the collection plates - it's been a long time since I've been in a church myself)

So JFC stands for "joint fundraising committee" - meaning that the Chump campaign and the RNC are working together on everything.

(46,695 posts)What's TSF going to do if they fail to fork over the 5%? Sue them? Or will they tithe reflexively because he demanded they do so?

(33,443 posts)I think what they plan to do is invoice the "digital vendors" - meaning the media outlets - that are charging the down-ticket candidates for advertising. Chump's going to swoop in and grab 5% from the vendors. I got that idea because the letters were sent out to the "media vendors" not the candidates' campaign headquarters.
They'll have to monitor all those down-ticket ads to keep track of who owes them. TV, radio, newspapers, internet websites - who's going to track all of this?

(23,480 posts)Dems are using his name, image, likeness, voice, odor, vocabulary, rap sheet, etc for campaign ads. Should Dems have to pay a "tribute" to Donny?
