Okay. We're done. Trump just admitted to doing what he's charged with doing. Sentence him and we can all go home.

Trump did say this today. So for him having sex with Story Daniels is a legal expense. ha ha

Trump: I was paying a lawyer and marked it down as a legal expense. Some accountant, I didn’t know, marked it down as a legal expense. That’s exactly what it was… So check it out. It’s called legal expense

To her. Not a legal expense if Cohen was just the middle man to hide the payment source. Cohen has the signed checks and we have Trump's own word he paid Cohen the money. Cohen will testify he paid it to Stormy. It's a pretty easy case. The only question is felony or misdemeanor?

Breaking one's Cardinal Rule of ADMIT NOTHING does not hold water.

I say commence with the trial and make that man stew in his own offal for the duration.

It is absolutely amazing how many people he "doesn't know" and often they are people he dealt with on a regular basis. If they were people who sued him, then he never met them in his life.

So much for that big brain and great memory.

4. After the election, the Defendant reimbursed Lawyer A for the illegal payment
through a series of monthly checks, first from the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust (the
“Defendant’s Trust”)—a Trust created under the laws of New York which held the Trump
Organization entity assets after the Defendant was elected President—and then from the
Defendant’s bank account. Each check was processed by the Trump Organization, and each
check was disguised as a payment for legal services rendered in a given month of 2017 pursuant
to a retainer agreement. The payment records, kept and maintained by the Trump Organization,
were false New York business records. In truth, there was no retainer agreement, and Lawyer A
was not being paid for legal services rendered in 2017. The Defendant caused his entities’
business records to be falsified to disguise his and others’ criminal conduct.

That's from the Statement of Facts filed with the indictment.

See also, pages 7-9 of that document. For something that's not charged, Bragg sure seems to have spent a lot of time on it.

Help me understand why this allegation is not supported by Trump's statement re legal fees.

Those are not necessarily "facts". That aside, those go to whether business records were falsified or not. That is a misdemeanor in New York and the statute of limitations has run on something that occurred 8 years ago. So now Bragg must show a federal campaign finance law was violated in order to turn it into a felony. Even if Trump said business records were falsified (which he didn't) it would not prove what Bragg has charged.

Our bartender that night wrote up the complaint and I knew the woman being booted would say she didn't remember. I told the rest of the trustees beforehand that when she says that we're done. In that case all we have to go on is the bartender's story.

coming up (jk), and having to miss rallies I wonder if a plea deal is becoming more appealing to him? No jail...perhaps a few weeks of house arrest, a guilty plea after which he can say he took best deal available....?

The trial is happening RIGHT NOW and he's not in front of a Judge Cannon this time. Is he capable of focusing on his options? What are his attorneys telling him?
