Lawrence O'Donnell just made a good point

He said that the courthouse should not be providing a microphone there for cheato to bloviate everyday. He said that cheato won't testify, and there are no cameras in the courthouse so HE is the only participant who gets airtime.

He said that the judge could have forbidden the microphones. Basically, it should be cameras in the courthouse, and the microphones, but not just the microphone.

What do you think?

but if he is allowed to lie with impunity, low information swing voters who can't follow the trial may not be aware that he's lying.

I say let him rant and rave it will only inspire his unwashed Magats.

Laurence means well, he is always trying to out-scoop everyone.

If you are not allowed to televise the proceedings - they should also outlaw microphones so Tr**p can't further obfuscate and violate his gag orders.

I hope this Judge gets smart and bans the courthouse microphone in the future and they should be outlawed in any future trials coming up for Tr**p.

I know - I know - Tr**p will just go back to the tower or MAL and hold a news conference - but its well after the trial ends and most people are tired of listening and watching the coverage. I don't think that Tr**p would get the same size audience he gets when he steps out of the courtroom.
