I know not everyone does drink coffee. And Trump might not. Although he apparently does drink a lot of Diet Coke.
But speaking for myself, if I'm in a setting where I need to remain alert and aware, I hit the mug pretty hard.

(87,090 posts)Drugs he abuses on a daily basis, I can imagine that someone "helped" by dosing him with some kind of doggie downers to keep him from becoming uncontrollable in the courtroom.
I bet he's been "medicated" to keep him from having a shitfit meltdown in front of potential jurors.

(102,634 posts)but sleep patterns matter... And, he had a history of not emerging from the "residence" before 11AM or so--given his "executive time" scheduled, so I'm betting this is going to be VERY hard for him to get there by even mid-morning each day court is in session.

Plus, he no doubt doesn't give a shit what's happening in that courtroom right now.

(42,717 posts)to eat whatever he wants, and the only food we ever hear him talk about are things a child would eat. So I think theres a good chance he doesnt drink coffee and Diet Coke is the substitute. Really, the only thing that surprises me is that he drinks Diet Coke instead of regular Coke. Maybe that concession was made as he got older.
