(12,377 posts)This has to be the biggest and worst espionage case in all of U.S. history, and the worst betrayal of trust ever, not to mention violation of oath of office.
Those who mishandled and sold classified information were speedily tried and sentenced, with no help from judges actively obstructing justice on their behalf. So, short of having phone records and such, there's also tampering involved, even if "subtle".
Everything he has done, and what the GOP as a whole have done and said materially aids Putin.
That is indisputable, since it is public record.
Quite simply, traitors in word and deed.

(49,539 posts)Of course, I'm not surprised. I knew it was a possibility, but seeing the evidence put together so plainly is a bit of a jolt to the system.
Still hard to believe that any president, even a profoundly bad president, would stoop so low.

(2,150 posts)Trump's smear and hit job on him was another favor done for Uncle Vlad to take him out - not physically, of course. Peter survived to tell his tale and publish a book denouncing Donald Trump. But alas, this story was greatly under-reported and mis-characterized by the mainstream media, which has a pro-Trump bias.

(83,351 posts)Telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump
Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump this evening at the American sides initiative.
July 31, 2019
23:50
The US President offered help in putting out wildfires in Siberia.
The President of Russia expressed sincere gratitude for the kind attention and the offer of help and assistance. Vladimir Putin said he will accept the offer if it becomes necessary. He also told his American colleague that a powerful group of aircraft had been formed in Siberia to fight the wildfires. According to the Emergencies Ministry, solutions have been found to problems with the refuelling and deployment of airplanes and helicopters.
The President of Russia regards the US Presidents offer as a sign that it is possible that full-scale bilateral relations will be restored in the future.
The presidents of Russia and the United States agreed to continue contacts in the form of telephone conversations as well as personal meetings.

He'll install himself as king, and loot the White House saying everything in there belongs to him because he's king. And that'll only be the beginning.
